Obituary for Steven Dale Hughes Ringling – Graveside Services for Mr. Steven Dale Hughes, 60 of Ringling, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Cornish Cemetery with the Bro. Doug Hickman and Rev. Jerry Gunsolus officiating.

Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling. Steven was born January 22, 1958 to the late Mr. Henry Harold Means and Mrs. Evelyn Means. He departed from this life on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home in Ringling.

Steven attended Zaneis School before going to Ringling where he graduated high school in 1976. He joined the U.S. Marries a year after high school. Steven made his home in Ringling.

He married the former Veronica Miller and has been married for the past 17 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. He was a kind and gentle man known as Hoppy to all his grandchildren that he dearly loved.

Steven attended the Asphaltum Fellowship. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Evelyn Means; and by a brother, Stan Means. Steven is survived by his wife, Veronica of the home; daughters, Hillary Price of Moore, Sydney Roberts of Ringling and Sloan Roberts of Ringling; brothers, Mark “Huck” Means and wife Cathy of Wilson and Harold “Mud” Means and wife Molly of Gene Autry; sister, Sandy Striegal of South Paris, Maine; brother in law, Baron Miller and wife Kelly of Papillion, NE; sister in law, Falesha Wood and husband Robbie of Wichita Falls, TX; mother in law, Freda Folsom of Ringling, grandchildren, Will Inselman, Aubrey Banks, Adlee, Cash and Knox Barns; numerous neices, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bryant, Artie Hammons, Dale McCurry, Baron Miller, Robbie Wood, and Kenny Mashore. Honorary bearers will be All Employees and Friends at Citation Oil and Gas of Healdton; and the Class of 1976, A family visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
