Steven’s Obituary Steven R. Johnson, 64, of Granite City, IL, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home. He was born October 23, 1954 in Hannibal, MO to Roy and Gloria (nee: Swofford) Johnson. Steven toured with the group Up With People all over the world, he performed at the Royal Dumpe in St, Louis, MO, was a member of the Webster Groves Theater Guild and worked as an amateur and professional actor and musician.

He is survived by his son: Steven Jason (Crystal) Johnson of Aviston, IL; two grandchildren: Lucille and Jason; and a sister: Donna Crump of Wildwood, MO. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson: Jacob. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
