Steven Richard Huzey of New Milford was 75 years old when he passed away Sunday, October 8th. Born on Governor’s Island, New York City, he was raised in Washington Heights before settling in New Milford. Steven was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, New York.

After High School he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked most of his life as a technical draftsman. Steven was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Trinity Council.

Steven was predeceased by his parents, Floyd Richard Huzey and Rose Mary (nee Boyle) Huzey. He is survived by his sister Ann Carolyn Gribbin and her husband Robert Terrence, his sister Patricia Ellen Biale and her husband John, and his brother Dennis Patrick Huzey. Steven was predeceased by his sister Noreen O’Neil and his brother John “Jack” Huzey.

He was the brother in law Robert O’Neil and the uncle of Robert O’Neil, Kevin O’Neil and his wife Karen, Steven O’Neil and his wife Helene, Daniel Gribbin and his wife Colleen, Jeanne Arcurio and her husband Ralph, Tara Mongno and her husband Cory, Cathleen Brandenburg and her husband Gary, Shannon O’Shea and her husband Daniel, Jennifer Torry and her husband Paul, and Lauren Biale. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in his memory Wednesday 10am in Holy Trinity RC Church, Hackensack. Please meet at the church at 9:45am.

Burial to follow George Washington Memorial Park, Hackensack.
