Steven Woodson Mills, 56, of Greenville, Kentucky, formerly of Herrin, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at his home. He was born on November 6, 1961, in Chicago, to Woodson Mills and Shirley Lou Eveland Peacock. Steven is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Mills of Franklin Park, Illinois; sister, Cathy (Mark) Blough of Greenville, Kentucky; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; and a host of friends.

He was a bar owner in Iowa and in Chicago. A graveside memorial service will be held in the Murdale Gardens of Memory in Carbondale, Illinois. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Kentucky assisted with cremation services.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville is in charge of local arrangements.
