Sue Higbee, 67 Sue Ellen Cook Higbee, 67 of West Portsmouth, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday April 28, 2018. She was born April 6, 1951 in Portsmouth to the late Russell and Helen Cook. She attended West High School and attained her diploma in Pomona, CA.

Sue worked for Wurster Drugs in Portsmouth and was a Nursing Assistant at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She retired as a Home Health Care Aide for SOMC Home Care after 36 years of service. She was an active member of Riverview Wesleyan Church in Portsmouth.

Along with her parents, Sue was preceded in death by the love of her life, Reverend Paul Higbee. Sue is survived by her daughter Suarra (Kenny) Sparks of West Portsmouth, 2 granddaughters; Kendra (Jayson) Fritz and Kara Sparks, 2 great grandchildren; Jaxson and Kenzie Fritz and a brother Gary (Linda) Cook of Lucasville. Sue also leaves behind a special sister Penny Book, a dear friend Wanda Lampkin and a special friend Ben Alley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 2, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Adam Satterfield and Mike Queen officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
