Obituary for Mrs. Sue Mayes Sue Mayes, 91, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2018 in Fairlawn, Ohio. She was born on October 23, 1926 in Harlan, KY. She was married to Ralph Mayes who preceded her in his exit from this world.

She lived her life with grace, dignity and compassion and her light shone on all who knew her. She was always a lady who ordered her Coke with no ice. She will live on in those she has touched.

She is survived by her children, Ralph Mayes Jr. (Christine), George Mayes (Sherre) and Gloria Mayes (Fulton R. Gordon III); grandchildren, Shelby and Carley Mayes, Charlie Szarze, Connor and Fulton R. Gordon IV; great-grandchildren, Emily and Erin Marshall. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to dear friend, Teri Franz, who provided great comfort and care in her later years. The family will have a private memorial celebration of her life.
