Susanna M. Smith, 78, of Sharon, KS, died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Attica Long Term Care, Attica, KS. She was born on July 12, 1940 in Sharon, KS, the daughter of George Schreiner and Elizabeth (Ketzner) Schreiner. On February 14, 2005, she married Ronald G. Smith in Las Vegas, NV.

He survives. Susanna was a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Altar Society of Sharon, KS.

Surviving in addition to her husband Ronald Smith of Sharon, KS are one daughter Jill (Mitch) Gumble of Hutchinson, KS; several grandchildren; three brothers, Dave (Roxann) Schreiner of Wichita, KS, James (Anne) Schreiner of Sharon, KS, & Daniel (Elaine) Schreiner of Sharon, KS; three sisters, Phyllis Lightfoot of Hurst, TX, Olivia Goemann of Vista, CA, & Julie Ann (Wayne) Pennock of Nevada, MO; Several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Rosary/vigil service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sharon, KS.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sharon, KS with Father Mark Brantley officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Sharon, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
