OBITUARY Suzanne Elaine Wildt October 15, 1945 – September 29, 2018 Suzanne Elaine Haller Wildt, 72 of Evansville, IN passed away September 29, 2018 at Linda White Hospice House. Suzi spent many years as a hairdresser and working at a beauty supply house, but her favorite job was being a mother. She raised four daughters.

Suzi also gave extra love to those who lost their own mothers. Suzi was a ray of sunshine in the world. She had the capacity to love more than most and taught others to love extra as well.

She was completely accepting and non-judgmental. She made everyone feel warm, welcome and cared for. She was an avid reader and book collector.

Suzi loved her family fiercely and had a positive attitude that was contagious to all who knew her. Suzi came from a family of bowlers and was an amazing bowler herself. She was a member of the River Bend Association, Owls and Eagles.

Her best friend was her husband of 54 years. Her family is heartbroken. We could not be more appreciative of the warmth and love the staff at Deaconess ICU 3900 floor showed to our precious Suzi and her family.

We especially want to thank the amazing Dr. Schuyler Gellar and all of the nurses including: Brett, Craig, Tori, Seth, Kelly, Chelsea, Marissa, ER nurse Shawn, and our dear friend Lori Logan. Jason, the head of security, had our back the entire time as we had a record breaking crowd. The folks at hospice, Maryanne, Bobbi and Sarah were a blessing from the heavens to us all.

Thank you for helping us help our precious angel leave this earth. She deserved the best and we feel she got just that. Suzi was preceded in death by her parents; Lee and Marge Haller She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gil Wildt.

She had four daughters: Patti Mato (Michael), Kristi Frank (Fred), Sherri Barnett (Kevin), and Shelli Rupe (Frankie). She had nine grandchildren: Ashlee Mato, Mikey Mato, Lindsey Logan (Cameron), Damon Owens, Sadie Barker (Cameron), Dax Frank, Brayden Barnett, McKenna Blaylock, and Siera Rupe. She had one great granddaughter, Mabel Elaine Logan.

She is also survived by her two brothers, Don Haller (Paula) and Rick Haller (Lisa) and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church at 2800 St. Phillips Road, Evansville IN from 12-5 PM on Saturday October 6, 2018. Please come and share a memory about our precious wife and mother!

If you feel the need to give, in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. This charity was near and dear to her heart. Condolences may be offered at www.
