Obituary for Marvin R. Bauer Marvin R. Bauer, 75, of Wadesville, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House surrounded by his family. Marvin was born September 2, 1943 in Evansville to the late Anthony and Cecilia (Gottman) Bauer. He worked for Faultless Caster for over 40 years.

Marvin enjoyed being outdoors; was an avid gardener, enjoyed canning vegetables, mowing his grass, hunting, coin collecting, attending auctions and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving Marvin are two daughters, Caroline (Chris) Money and Christina (Troy) Smith, both of Evansville; four sons, Michael (Diane) Bauer and Daniel Bauer, both of Evansville, David (Kathleen McMurtry) Bauer of Wadesville and Gary (Kim) Bauer of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Gerald Bauer and Robert Bauer and five grandchildren, Ashley (Dean) Floyd, Rachael Bauer, Taylor Money, Sydni Money and Dru Harmes.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Huff) Bauer in 2010 and by a brother, Ronald Bauer. Funeral services for Marvin will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Theodore Tempel officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriett Street, Evansville, IN 47711.
