OBITUARY Dorothy Ann Sturm July 4, 1926 – November 12, 2018 Dorothy Ann Sturm, 92, of Evansville, IN, passed away peacefully in her bed on November 12, 2018 at Park Terrace Nursing Home. Dorothy was born on July 4, 1926 in Silver Lake, MO to George and Mary (Layton) Robinson. She married her husband of 66 years, Clarence Sturm, when she was only 14 and was devoted to him until his passing in 2008.

During her younger years, Dorothy was a loving homemaker, mother, wife, and grandmother. She loved to do crafts, play bingo, and spend time with her family. Dorothy was caring, loving, spunky, and had a heart of gold.

She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy had ten siblings – seven sisters and three brothers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Sturm; her granddaughter, Melanie Renea’ Sturm; and her son-in-law, Bill Keown.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons Ronald (Marcia) Sturm and Jerry Sturm both of Evansville, IN, and one daughter, Judy Keown (Bill) of Evansville, IN; nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Alexander Memorial Park – Chapel of Remembrance. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel and 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Park Terrace Nursing Home.
