OBITUARY Rubilee Ellen Weir June 29, 1945 – November 17, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Rubilee Ellen (Batteiger) Schaffer Weir, 73 of Evansville, In passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Health Park Medical Center in Ft. Myers, Fl. .

She was born on June 29, 1945. Rubilee was a lifetime member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon, IN and a member of Peace Community Church of Fort Myers, FL.

She enjoyed watching her favorite teams the Colts and Broncos play football, enjoyed watching WWF Wrestling, loved to laugh, dance and go to the beach. She also loved spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life Aubrey (Jr.

)Weir; son Floyd Carl Schaffer; father Carl Batteiger; mother, Ellen Batteiger. Rubilee is survived by her son, Greg (Randi) Schaffer; daughter, Tina (Ted) Cissna; brother, Gene (Bonnie) Batteiger; sister, Cheryl (Jerry) Smith, five stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Chris Holzmeyer, with burial to follow at Immanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery in Mt.

Vernon, IN. Friends may visit 2-4 p.m. Sunday November 25, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel and Monday 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Foundation.
