Judie C. (Leach) Clements, 71, of Mount Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Judie was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 28, 1947 to the late William Woodrow and Margaret (Krietemeyer) Leach. She graduated from Mt.

Vernon High School and later from Westside Beauty College. Judie worked as a floral designer for both Zeidlers and The Bouquet Shop. She loved being around her family, cooking and hosting for all the holidays… Read More » at her home.

Judie enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines for many years. Judie is survived by her sons, Mark Clements (Chris) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Chad Clements (Stephanie) of St. Cloud, FL; sisters, Ruth Trautvetter of Evansville, IN, Patty Bryant (Larry) of Evansville, IN and Phyllis Melton (Mike) of Sebree, KY; grandchildren, Dalton Riordan, Brady Clements, Daniel Clements and Kylie Clements; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clements in 2002; parents; and brother, Gerald “Jerry” Leach. A celebration of Judie’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN 47710 with Pastor Mark Moog officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the church. The family would like to thank the nurses at the Linda E. White Hospice House, Dr. Rashidian and staff along with the nurses on the 3rd floor of the Deaconess Heart Hospice and the nurses on the 5th floor at Deaconess Gateway for all the kindness and compassion shown to Judie.
