OBITUARY Harold Swarts February 4, 1926 – November 17, 2018 Harold Swarts, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018, at his home. He was born on February 4, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Levi and Clara (Huntzinger) Swarts. Harold served in the Army during WWII and the Korean War.

He was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Harold enjoyed dinners with family and loved playing with his dog. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Swarts and first wife, Dorothy.

Harold is survived by his wife of 22 years, Erma Dean (Garvin) Kingston-Swarts; children, Pam Swarts, Kern Swarts (Helen), Debbie Jackson, Michael Kingston (Pam), Beth Hauschild (David), and David Kingston (Barb); brother, Raymond Swarts; 25 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Dr. Thomas Wenig, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church Memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Condolences may be made online at www. AlexanderEastChapel.com.
