OBITUARY Norma Jean Nichols May 2, 1934 – November 14, 2018 Norma Jean (Lilly) Nichols, 84, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Heritage Center. She was born May 2, 1934 in Macon, Illinois to E.B. Spurgeon and Beulah Mae (Lanter) Lilly. She retired from Timberview County Accents.

Norma was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church. She enjoyed tennis, bridge, travel, collecting shells at the beach and white water rafting. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother, Charles E. “Chuck” Lilly.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Duane C. Nichols; daughter, Janine (Nichols) Goodin (Larry); grandchildren, Amanda Pendergraff (Wesley) and Amber Fisher; great-grandchildren, Reilly Pendergraff and Ryan Pendergraff; sister-in-law, Sharon Lilly and nieces, nephews and their extended families. Her family would like to thank her Heritage Center caregiver family for their love and kindness. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev.

Bessie Adams. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Salem United Methodist Church.
