Odie Robert Carrier, Jr., 65, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Odie was born in Hammond, Indiana on February 10, 1953 to the late Odie Robert and Norma L. (Corn) Carrier. After graduating from Reitz High School in 1971, Odie honorably served in the United States Air Force.

He owned Carrier Electronics Company for many years and later worked for Pregis as a field service technician. He enjoyed fishing, watching his grandsons… Read More » play sports and making people laugh. Odie was the kind of man who never met a stranger.

He attended Christian Fellowship Church. Odie is survived by his children, Tiffany Hadfield (Chris) of Evansville, IN, Bobby Carrier (Christina) of Evansville, IN and Rob Mullinix of Putnamville, IN; mother of his children, Connier Carrier of Evansville, IN; son-in-law, Andy Collins of Evansville, IN; sisters, Debi Doninger of Evansville, IN, Patti Ebrect (Nathan) of Evansville, IN, Cindy Hilderbrandt (John) of Evansville, IN and Sandy Hinton (Tim) of Owensboro, KY; brother, Barry Carrier (Annette) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Eric Carrier, Dylan Carrier, Kyle Carrier, Logan Collins and Blake Collins. Odie was preceded in death by his parents; and by sisters, Pam Sulawske and Theresa Carrier.

A celebration of Odie’s life will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Darrell Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online at www. browningfuneral.com.
