Harry N. Rice, age 89, of Boonville, IN, passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Heritage Center. Harry was born April 27, 1929 in Wadesville, IN, to the late Harry G. and Blanche I. (Sturgeon) Rice. He attended Wadesville High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy and the United States Marines during the Korean War.

Harry loved dogs and building model aircraft. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Cline (Louis) of Stewartsville, IN; son, Brian Rice (Jeanie) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Chris Morlan (Heather) of Cynthiana, IN, Gabrielle Emerson (Ross) of Medina, TN, Adam Rice of Indianapolis, IN, and Megan Wahnsiedler (JT) of Evansville, IN; and great-grandchildren, Kayla Mae Morlan, Lucas Allen Emerson, and James Thomas Wahnsiedler, III. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Andy Rice and Matthew Rice; sisters, Darcus Williams and Elizabeth Yancey; and brother, Charles Rice.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Harbor Unit and to Heritage Hospice for their loving care. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
