Obituary for Martha H. Trapp Martha Helen (Mills) Trapp, 84, of Evansville, passed peacefully onto her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at West River Health Care. She was born April 14, 1934, in Evansville, the daughter of the late Paul Bernard and late Genevieve Margaret (Fehr) Mills. She was a 1952 graduate of Reitz Memorial High School.

While in high school, she worked at the College Corner where she met husband, James Anthony Trapp. Martha and Jim were married on May 21, 1953 and were married for 29 years before Jim’s death in 1982. Martha worked with Avon, Premier Design Jewelry, Beauty Control and later worked at Deaconess Hospital at the information desk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Anthony Trapp; by a daughter-in-law, Christa Trapp and a brother, Paul Jerome “Jerry” Mills. Surviving Martha are her seven children, P. Genie (Tom Ranker) Trapp, Jamie (David) Brown, Teresa (Michael) Rynkiewich, Carol (Michael) Todisco, James Trapp II, David Trapp and Mary (David) Owens; three sisters, Mary Lou Cashen, Barb Fisher and Margie (Mike) Young; two brothers, Ken (Jean) Mills and Tom (Ellen) Mills; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family would also like to acknowledge a former sister-in-law, Janet Mills and Martha’s special friend, Jim Lambert.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Rev. Godfrey Mullen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N. First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710. Condolences may be made online at www. pierrefuneralhome.com.
