Elizabeth “Liz” (Hashfield) Collins, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:22 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Liz was born December 2, 1951, in Yankeetown, Indiana, to Richard and Martha (Smith) Hashfield. She attended Boonville High School.

She loved family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Liz was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church. Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, James Collins, son, Matthew W. (Jennifer) Collins, of Elberfeld, daughter, Crystal G. (Bryan) Heaton, of Newburgh; grandchildren, Sara (Trevor) Gentry, Olivia Collins, Chase Collins, Walker Collins, Brodey Heaton, Katelyn Heaton; brother, Emmett Hashfield, of Boonville, sister, Mary Chism, of Evansville, She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark Allen Collins, sisters, Cordie Barnes, Lucille Snyder, Bertha Stepro.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.

There will be visitation from 9am until time of Service on Tuesday morning. Arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
