Obituary for Norma L Shaw Norma L. Shaw, 88, of Evansville, IN passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at The Waters of Huntingburg, Huntingburg, Indiana. Norma was born on February 10, 1930 to the late Hassell and Dorothy (Fulcher) Deffendoll, in Oakland City, Indiana. She married Thomas L. (Jack) Shaw on May 1, 1949 and he preceded her in death in July 1996.

Norma worked at the University of Evansville in the Registrar`s Office and in the Music Department for 26 years. She was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Evansville, Indiana. Surviving are one daughter, Pam Shaw Cox (Roger) of Huntingburg; one son Thomas L. Shaw (Pam) of Evansville; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband was her brother, Donald Deffendol. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (CST) on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel 6300 North First Ave. , Evansville, Indiana.

The funeral will be at the Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel at 10:00 am (CST) on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem UCC Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem UCC, 6400 Oak Hill Rd, Evansville, IN 47725 or SWIRCA, 16 W Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47710 or to a favorite charity.
