– Suzanne Ross, 68, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 11:54 AM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2018 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2200 S. Philo Rd. , Urbana, with Pastor Robert Rasmus officiating.

Burial will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, IL. There will be a visitation from 2-4 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd.

, Urbana. Suzanne was born December 26, 1949 in Mattoon, IL, a daughter of Jesse and Bernice Virginia (Coble) Peak. Survivors include her husband, Jim Bruns of Urbana; three daughters, Brandy Stover(LeeRoy) of Urbana, Jamie Bruns of Champaign, and Tara Wilson(Joel) of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren, Chelsea, Travis, Justen and Ethan; a niece, Samantha Dapron(Kris) of Sullivan, IL, and a sister, Debbie Rieck of Mattoon, IL also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kent Peak. Suzanne worked as a purchasing agent for Herff-Jones Company for 46 years and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Urbana. She enjoyed gardening, and was a supporter of veterans.
