Obituary for Sybil Josephine Gillespie Cole Sybil Josephine (Gillespie) Cole, 89, of Magnolia, AR died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Lake Hamilton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs, AR. She was born on March 2, 1929 in Waterloo, AR to the late Roscoe “R.C.” and Lotta (Clodfelter) Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, her husband of 62 years, Robert H. “Bob” Cole, Jr., and one granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Cole Fankhouser.

Sybil is survived by three sons Robert C. “Bob” Cole (Victoria), Dr. David H. Cole (Cyndi) and Dr. William S. “Bill” Cole (Holly); seven grandchildren Thomas R. “Bob” Cole (Amanda), Matthew Cole (Devin), Heather Knee (Jeremy), Scott Cole (Anna), Emily Cole, Caroline Cole, and Williams C. ”Bill” Fankhouser, Jr.; eight great grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces; and one brother in law Charles H. Cole (Sandie). A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Pam Estes officiating. A visitation will follow services in the First United Methodist Church Parlor under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.
