Obituary for Joyce McMahen Joyce McMahen, 87, of Magnolia, AR passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Wentworth Place Nursing Home in Magnolia. Joyce was born on April 1, 1931 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Otis Everett and Mary Elizabeth (Crockett) Fox. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and retired from Magnolia City Hospital.

She was an avid tennis and golf player and loved being a grandmother. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert R. “Bob” McMahen. She is survived by her sons, Bobby McMahen and wife Vicki of Crossett, AR and Paul McMahen and wife Susann of Homer, LA; grandchildren, Heather Robinson and husband Thomas of San Antonio, TX, Laura Linn McDill and husband Zach of El Dorado, AR, Mary Ellen McMahen of Gurdon, AR, Rebecca Rothwell and husband Matt of Ashville, NC, and Elsie Thacker and husband Will of Shreveport, LA; great grandchild Ryann Ellen McDill of El Dorado, AR; brothers Otis Fox and wife Lynn of Oxnard, CA and John Fox and wife Juanita of Ronoke, VA; sister Anita Hammack of Fort Smith, AR; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pam Estes officiating. Burial will follow at the Hephzibah Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Will Thacker, Zach McDill, Brady Vandiver, Thomas Robinson, Larry Byles, and Senator Eddie Cheatham. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations are sent to First United Methodist Church, 320 West Main Street, Magnolia, AR 71753 or Hephzibah Cemetery, 22960 Highway 98, Emerson, AR 71740.
