PALOMBO, Sylvia C., 80, of East Greenwich Ave. , passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Frank Palombo.

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late David and Cecile (Lussier) Chartier. Sylvia owned and operated Sylvia’s Upholstery for over 35 years before retiring. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Angela Raiche and her husband John of Coventry and Andrea Downie and her husband Arthur of Youngstown, NY; two sisters, Lucille Graham of West Warwick and Pauline Guibeau of Titusville, FL and her grandson, Benjamin Raiche.

She was the sister of the late Diane Charpentier. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, February 20, 2019 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Christ the King Church, West Warwick.

Burial will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange St., Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
