Sylvia Wright Reding, 80, of Brownwood went to be with her Lord peacefully at her home, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Sylvia was born August 19, 1938 to James and Genetta Wright in Parker, Arizona. Her family later moved to Miles, Texas where she grew up and graduated high school.

Sylvia married Larry Reding on April 8, 1960 in Brady, Texas where their union was blessed with three children; Sondra, James and Alan. Larry and her, moved to Brownwood in 1976. Sylvia retired from Texas Bank where she worked 28 years as an accounts representative and met many people and gained many friendships.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing and working with her hands which included sewing, but most of all she loved her family and spending precious time with them. Sylvia was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Brownwood, TX. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Larry; sons, James Reding of Brownwood, TX, Alan Reding and wife Samatha of Eastland, TX; daughter, Sondra Lambert of DFW Metroplex; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
