OBITUARY Teresa Gonzales April 11, 1960 – July 3, 2018 Mary Teresa Gonzales “Terry” as she was affectionately known as, 58, passed away on July 3, 2018. She was born on April 11, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic school, Prescott Elementary, Cunningham Junior High, Shannon Junior High and graduated from Richard King High School on May 30, 1978.

She attended Del Mar College & Austin Community College. She always said that she would love to live in San Antonio, so she packed her bags and made San Antonio, Texas her home. While in high school she worked for Black Diamond Oyster Bar & Grill.

She worked for HEB until she was hired as a cast member by the Disney in San Antonio. Her happiest time was working for Disney as she climbed the ladder and became a Manager at the happiest place on earth and traveling opening Disney stores. She loved her Disney employees and considered them her family.

Her favorite character was Grumpy. Terry had a passion for music, dancing, gambling, traveling, anything Disney and spending time with her family and friends She had the biggest heart, great listener, and contagious smile to go with her “Go Lucky” attitude. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Our only consolation is that she is no longer in pain. May Terry rest in eternal peace. Terry is survived by her mother Maria Christina (Tina) Gonzales, Grandmother Andrea Muniz her sisters Cynthia Fuentes, Cathy (Alfred) Martinez, Brother Rudy F. Gonzales (Corina), nephew Martin Trevino Jr, and numerous great nieces/nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by her father Rodolfo (Rudy) R. Gonzales, nephew Lucas Sanchez IV, maternal grandfather Pedro Muniz and paternal grandparents Sotelo & Julia Diaz. Terry will make her final trip from San Antonio to Corpus Christi to her eternal resting place. A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 am on July 21, 2018, Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery 8200 Old Brownsville Rd Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.

Interment of her ashes will follow the services. The family would like to extend their many thanks to everyone who has in one way or another supported, traveled to be with them, called, texted and prayed for them during this difficult time. A reception luncheon will be held immediately following the burial of the ashes at the Comfort Suites Hotel Conference Room 538 S.P.I.D Corpus Christi.
