Teresa L. Van Meter, (nee-Anderson), 67, of LaGrange passed away Friday June 22, 2018 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a long illness. She was born December 16, 1950 in Fleming, KY. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life.

Teresa worked as a seamstress at Invacare for 24 years, and enjoyed camping, cooking, attending car shows and was an animal lover. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, David; daughter, Rebecca (Ken) Ayers; grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Tara, Stephen,… Read More » Matthew and Kenny; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Jobb.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 28, 2018 in the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Greene will Officiate.

Burial will at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 North Murray Ridge Rd. , Elyria.
