Teresa Lavett Langley was born on November 28, 1968 in Pitt County to Pattie Vest. On Tuesday morning, March 12, 2019, God stretched forth his hands and summoned our beloved into the kingdom of peaceful rest. Teresa was educated in the Pitt County Schools.

Teresa worked in food service. She was a hard worker. She loved to cook and would occasional cook for the elderly in the community.

Teresa loved reading novels, watching wheel of fortune and being a mother. She was a joy to be around and loved her family. Teresa will be missed dearly.

Teresa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Magnolia and Ralph Langley; step-father, Charles Vest. Teresa leaves to cherish her sweet memories, one son, Aidan Ja’Quan Savage of the home, her mother, Pattie Vest of Greenville, NC; one brother, Leon Langley of Williamston, NC; one aunt; three uncles; a favorite cousin, Annie Carmon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, others relatives and friends.
