Teresa Licea, known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly as “Ma Tere”, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Napa, California. Born on August 14, 1931 in Tlazazalca, Michoacán, Mexico to Aurora Magaña and Jose Villaseñor, Teresa married her true love, Salvador Licea Aguilar, in March of 1955. Married for over 63 years, Teresa took great pride in her ever-growing family.

She will always be remembered for not only being an amazing wife, but a loving caregiver, always keeping an open door for anyone in need. Teresa is survived by her husband, Salvador Licea Aguilar, and siblings Alfonso, Celia, Elvira, Jesús, Miguel, Refugio “Cuca”, and Salvador. Teresa also leaves behind children Antonio, Beatriz, Elena, Esther, Luis, Maria, Salvador, and Vitalina, as well as 24 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, June 21st, inside the Tulocay Chapel. Mass will be held at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church on Friday, June 22nd at 10:30 am, with the burial following at Tulocay Cemetery.
