Teresa Shockley Wooten, 58 of Evergreen, courageously ended her battle with cancer on November 13, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 16, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Clyde Shockley. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Clyde Shockley and her son, Terry Allen Wooten, Jr. To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband of 39 years, Terry Allen Wooten of the home; two daughters, Ashley Wooten of Myrtle Beach, SC, Victoria Wooten of the home; her mother, Virginia Carolyn Shockley; brother-in-law, Carl L. Wooten, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Willard McPherson and Pastor Ron Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zimmer Cancer Center, 2131 S 17th St, Wilmington, NC 28401 or Living Word Church, 6374 Chadbourn Hwy, Chadbourn, NC 28431.
