Terrence “Terry” Edward Manuszak, 74, of La Porte, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago, IL. He was born October 28, 1943, in Hammond, Indiana, to Edward and Rose (Sciackitano) Manuszak. Terry honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He was a business owner of Budget Truck Rental of various locations for the past 35 years and worked for TFCO Inc. Terry was a former owner of Burnham Car Wash, Lansing, IL. He looked forward to his weekly casino cash grabs, obtaining the latest gadgets, spending time with his family and cruising his boat on Pine Lake. He had a great sense of humor. “Dilly.

Dilly”. On February 19, 1992, in Chicago, IL, he married his wife, Patricia “Pat” Lynn (Planer) Manuszak, who survives. Also surviving are his seven children, Tim Manuszak of La Porte, Sandy (Chris) Byrd of Schererville, Jeff (Stephanie) Manuszak of La Porte, Lance McCarley and Kim (Dusko) Mirjanic both of Schererville, Deb (Jeff) Wisniewski of Chesterton and Shannon (John) Garcia of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Thomas (Linda) Manuszak of Chicago, IL; fourteen grandchildren, Katie, Brandon and Lindsay Byrd, Alexis, Tristen and Tyler Manuszak, Chloe and Cal Wisniewski, Joshua, Kyle and Gabby Garcia, Julie and Jenni Lightfoot and Zach Knox; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best dog friend, Dino.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one son, Brian Manuszak. A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd. , La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Rev.
