Terri Lynn Casey of Claremore, Oklahoma July 7, 1955 – March 7, 2019 Services honoring and remembering the life of Theresa Lynn “Terri” Casey will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Claremore First Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Rice Funeral Service. Terri passed away Thursday evening, March 7, 2019 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

She was 63. Born July 7, 1955 in Tulsa, Terri was the daughter of Gilbert and Wanda (McClain) Jones. Terri moved around frequently with her family while growing up.

She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1973 where she was a member of the Pep Club. Following high school, Terri met Mike Casey, the love of her life, on a double blind date through mutual friends. The couple married shortly thereafter on November 16, 1974 at the Broken Arrow Nazarene Church.

They moved to Claremore (Mike’s hometown) in 1991. Together, Terri and Mike fulfilled their lifelong dream by founding TLC Antiques, which they operated for nine years. Terri was a member of Claremore First Baptist Church.

She always loved antiques, collectibles, and attending auctions. She was completely selfless, always going out of her way to help others. According to her family, Terri was a loyal and devoted mother and wife.

She will be dearly missed by many family and friends who loved her. Since Mike passed away, Terri began working in the shoe department at J.C. Penny’s. She also reconnected with many of her classmates on Facebook and became involved with the class reunion committee.

Terri loved spending time with the Draggin’ Main group in Broken Arrow. Surviving family members include her mother, Wanda Machielson; her children: Jason Casey and his wife Shelly, Gary Casey and his wife, Beth, Melissa Schulte, and Sheila Bumsted and her husband Clint; grandchildren: Krista, Jeff, Tiffany, Niel, Liam, River, Christian, Sarah, Mason, Hannah, Eian, and Mellissa; and 10 great grandchildren: her sister, Brenda Lindwall; and her brother, Mike Jones; Terri was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Jones; and her husband, Mike Casey.
