OBITUARY Terry Dean Miller September 9, 1949 – December 21, 2018 Terry Dean Miller, 69, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Miller, Jr. and Sylvia Delores Rankin; and two brothers, Brian Miller and Shane Miller. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Passage Miller; three children, Chris (Tara) Miller, Seth Miller, and Sarah (Michael) Thornton; four grandchildren, Kirsten Miller, Jenna Miller, Izen Thornton, and Lilli Thornton; a sister, Janine Williamson; one brother, Dana Kim Miller; his step-mother, Donna Miller; one aunt, Sandy Davis; and numerous family members and friends.

Terry loved fishing, hunting, listening to good music, and was an avid poker player. He was the family historian, and a jokester – he loved making people laugh. Terry was a great husband, father, grandpa, and friend.

He worked in the oil industry for Shell Oil Company, and as a contractor for twenty years before branching out on his own. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West on Snow Road.
