Terry D. McCarty KEYSER, WV – Terry D. McCarty passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Ruby Memorial hospital in Morgantown WV. He was born in Baltimore, MD on November 24, 1951. He was the son of the late Paul and Juanita (Blackburn) McCarty.

Terry was also preceded in death by one nephew, Jeff Hines of Keyser. He is survived by two sisters, Edna Kuhn of Fairfax, VA and Jennifer Shoemaker of Keyser and one brother, Ronald Hines of Pitkin, LA. Also surviving are four nieces, Amanda Paugh of Keyser, Kayla Wolfe of Mt.

Storm, Mellissa Asser of Fairfax, VA, Lori Kuhn of Fairfax, VA, and two nephews, Daniel Layton of Keyser and Trenton Layton of Keyser. His nieces and nephews were his world. He spent countless hours mentoring, teaching and entertaining them.

Family and friends will be received at Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 12 to 2 pm.
