He worked for Benbrook Cafe for 24 years and was an active member of Agape Baptist Church. Survivors: Brother, Doug Burt (Cathy); sisters, Wanda Ballou and Kay Garrett; special niece, Cindy Ballou; and numerous nieces and nephews.
