Obituary for Thelma Louise (Ray) Smith Thelma Louise (Crist) (Ray) Smith 76, of Delaware, died Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born March 2, 1942 in New Salem to Stella (Hudson) and Abraham Crist. She worked as a Dietician in Wintersong Village.

She loved flowers, had a green thumb, loved to sing and yodel. She was a combination of Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball and Edith Bunker, so funny, but most of the time didn’t realize it! A Godly Woman who raised her kids to know the Lord.

She is survived by children, Anthony L. (Cassy) Ray and Laura L. (Larry) Dempsey both of Marengo, grandchildren, Brittaney M.(Ron) Carter, Brooke M. (Michael) Gillen, Phillip L. Ray, Cori Ray, Isaac A. Dempsey, Jodi W. (Jeremy) Gannon and Larry D. (Marissa) Dempsey, 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Clark, Barb Nibert, Katie Votaw and brother Larry Crist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Smith, three brothers, Lowell Crist, Randall Crist and Glen Crist, two sisters, Lucille Horner and Leona Ratliff. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Christ The King Worship Center, 4701 U.S. Route 23 North, Delaware, Ohio from 4-7pm and Friday from 12 noon to 1pm.

Funeral services will be held at the church at 1pm on Friday with Pastor Andy Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.
