Theodore Harvey “Ted” Cullop Jr., 80, Bruceville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ted was born March 13, 1938, in Bicknell, the son of Theodore H. Cullop Sr. and Hazel Morley. He was a servant of the Lord all of his life.

Ted played basketball in high school for the Bruceville Hilltoppers and played trumpet in the band. He married Jannette L. Eisenhut on December 21, 1963. He retired from INDOT after 45 years.

Ted was in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, watching basketball, especially Toledo Women’s Basketball, mushroom hunting, fishing, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Ted is survived by his wife, Jannette of Bruceville; daughters, Tracy (Jeff) Carlisle of Bruceville, Tammy (Darren) Nichols of Dacula, GA and Tricia Cullop of Toledo, OH; four grandchildren, Heather Carlisle, Tyler Carlisle, Jared Nichols and Tanner Nichols; siblings, Lois Norris of Indianapolis, Tom (Anne) Cullop of Anderson, IN, Senora (Jerry) Wilson of Indianapolis and Nancy (Danny) Byrne of Venice, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Freelandville Christian Church with Pastor Larry Schultz officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM also at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Bruceville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bruceville Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
