Theodore R. “June” Simpson Jr., 80, Duncansville, died Sunday at his residence. He was born in Juniata, son of the late Theodore Sr. and Madeline (McIntosh) Simpson. Surviving are his personal companion, Sandra Beaumont of Duncansville; a daughter, Tammy L. Simpson of Hollidaysburg; a son, Theodore J. and wife, Beth, of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Amanda, Ryan, Kyle and Josh; a great-grandson, Derek; a sister, Doris Benton of Newry; and two brothers: Roy in Texas and Richard of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Hammel; and a brother, Edward. June graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-64.

He retired from Sears as a service technician after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Roaring Spring VFW Post 7689, Roaring Spring American Legion Post 147 and the Duncansville VFW Post 8724. June enjoyed playing country music on his guitar, shooting pool and mowing grass.

At June’s request, all services will be private.
