JACKS, THERESA ANNE, age 51, of Springfield passed away on Monday, December 17th, 2018 at home after a battle with cancer. She was born September 26th, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Julie Sloan. She attended Kenton Ridge High School and graduated in 1986 from Northwestern High School.

Theresa graduated from Clark State Community College with a degree in nursing. She was a nurse at Eaglewood Village for 18 years and then worked as a home care nurse. She was a true caregiver and took… Read More » care of everyone around her.

Theresa cherished family time and spending time with those she loved. She loved to cheer on Ohio State and enjoyed swimming. She and Wayne are the biggest supporters of their grandchildren; attending all their sports and activities.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Jacks of Springfield whom she met when she was 12 and married in 1994; her children: Brooke Jacks, Chad Jacks , Amber Jacks and Kourtney Gallagher; grandchildren: Leeanne Davis, Mariah Jacks, Elijah Jacks, Cameron Jacks, Tyler Jacks, Niveah Jacks, Brooklynn Jacks-Sparks, Matthew Jacks-Sparks, Kaidin Gallagher; her sisters: Nicole (Randy) Adams and Michelle (Brian) Schell, Sheri (Scott) Bills and Bobby Ferryman; her mother, Julie Sloan; three sisters-in-law: Barb (Alex) Turner, Janet Musser, and Yvonne Wall; two brothers-in-law: Billy Jacks and Don Jacks; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dorothy and Earl Sloan; a niece Ashley Schell; father-in-law, William Cornelius Jacks and her best friend, Debbie Depriest. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 3:00 with Rev.
