Theresa V. Topczewski Age 90, of Wheatland passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Waterford Senior Living. She was born December 14, 1927 to Michal and Tekla (nee Swiatek) Jasien in Chicago, IL. Her early life was spent in Chicago, where she graduated from High School.

Before retiring, Theresa had worked as a secretary for an Insurance Company. She was a very active member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Wilmot and was known to donate freely much of her time and artistic talent to the church. Theresa enjoyed being outdoors gardening and was a very gifted artist; she was especially creative with her paintings, drawings and crafts.

Theresa loved to cook and be in the kitchen; she always made sure that everyone had enough to eat and always had enough food to go around. But, more than anything Theresa loved spending time with her family; they meant the world to her. She will be sadly missed by them.

Theresa is survived by her children Donna (Bruce) Larson and Michael (Jessica) Topczewski, grandchildren Tiffany, Richard and Anna, great-grandsons Andrew and Ashur, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, a son Eric and grandson Jared. The family has suggested memorials be made to Allay Home Hospice.

Theresa’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Waterford Senior Living and Allay Home Hospice for all their care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:30PM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon till time of service.

Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Wilmot.
