Obituary for Thomas Allen Bowman Thomas Allen Bowman, 85, of St. Albans passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. He was born March 17, 1933 in Cedar Grove, to the late Richard and Lenora Bowman. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Freda Bowman, three brothers and a sister.

He retired after 26 years from the Air Force, serving in many different places, including the US, 3 tours in Vietnam, Germany, and even supporting the Apollo 10 mission. He attended Riverlawn Presbyterian Church and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was an animal lover especially dogs.

He also loved wintering in St. Simons Island, GA. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Hannah West Bowman of St. Albans; son, Manuel Bowman (Cindi) of Bradenton, FL; stepchildren Melanie Minichelli (Thomas) of Binghamton NY, Diana Kitts (Michael) of St. Albans, David Lilly (Michelle) of Kirkwood MO; grandchildren, Ashley Landreneau (Lance), Shane Bowman (Tiffany), Shawn Bowman; 9 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. There will be a Funeral service at 10:00 am Wednesday December 19, 2018, at Bartlett Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Rev.

Chris Kilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association at 1248 Greenbrier St. Charleston WV 25311.
