Thomas Joseph Hayes of Rock Tavern, NY, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, in the Bronx. He was 56. The son of the late John and Mary Callahan Hayes, he was born January 16, 1962 in New York City.

Thomas was a retired police sergeant for the New York City Police Department. Survivors include his Wife, Ellen Hayes at home, daughter Lauren Anne Hayes & Andrew of Manhattan, Son Thomas John Hayes of Brooklyn, Son Daniel Joseph Hayes & fiance Ashley of Brooklyn, Brother Jack Hayes & wife Mary of Chester, NY, Sister Joanne Rosello & husband Robert of Garden City, Sister Jeanne Marie Markovic of Walden, extended family & friends. He was the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Jack & Mary Hayes, Father-In-Law & Dear Friend Lawrence Hennessy, Brother-In-Law Sal Markovic. Visitation will be Sunday April 29, 2018 from 4-6 & 7-9pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY. A funeral mass will be Monday April 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.
