Lloyd Knapp of Montgomery, NY, a retired Truck driver for Mobil, and a longtime resident of the area gave his last wave on Sunday June 17, 2018, in Middletown. He was 94. The son of the late Leon Knapp and Edna Reed Knapp, he was born in Haines Falls.

He served in the Army during World War II. Lloyd was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Montgomery, Montgomery Sportsman’s Club and the Explorers, BSA in Montgomery Lloyd loved to Camp, Hunt, fish and garden. He was the widower of Dorothy Knapp.

Survivors include his Son, James Knapp and his wife Joyce of Walden, NY Son, Gary Knapp and his wife Jane of Montgomery, NY Daughter, Gail Hall of Montgomery, NY Son, Paul Knapp of Montgomery Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Daughter in law Linda Knapp of Hubbardsville, NY Sister, Gloria Campbell of Somers, CT. He was predeceased by his Son, David Knapp Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4-8 pm. at the Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday June, 22, 2018 , 11:00 A.M. at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY.
