Thomas M. Farmer, 77 of Eatontown died peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, NJ he has lived most of his life in the shore area. Thomas graduated Red Bank Catholic High School in 1959.

He was a communicant of Holy Trinity R.C.Church , Long Branch. Thomas served his country honorably in the United States Army. He retired from New Jersey Natural Gas Company, Wall, NJ.

, where he worked as a supervisor for many years. Following NJNG he enjoyed his time working as a school bus driver for Durham School Services until 2015. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Catherine Farmer, a brother, Peter Farmer, sisters, Eleanor Daum and Maureen Campbell and a sister in law, Rosemary Puglia Ritvo.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Marilyn Puglia Farmer, step sons, Walter Jagielski, Jamie Jagielski and Daniel Jagielski, a brother Patrick Farmer and his wife Jane, sister in laws, Fran McLaughlin, Jane Nickas and her husband Gus, Billie Popes and her husband Glen , Mary Dirienzo and her husband Larry , granddaughter, Kayla Talmadge Jagielski, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to www. mda.org in Thomas’s name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4-8pm. Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Interment will be private.
