Thomas Michael Mitchell 75, of Low Gap in Danville, WV was born November 5, 1943 in Boone County and passed away at home on February 11, 2019 after a short illness. He was retired coal miner and was a member of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna; and son Kevin.

He is survived by his son, Shane of Low Gap; his sisters, Rosie Myers of Kanawha County, Janet Brown of Tennessee, and Tish Dickens of Low Gap; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. There will be a small memorial service at Danville Memorial Park on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. in his honor. It will be a celebration of his life and the joys he brought to each of us.
