Obituary for Thomas “Tom” Skala Thomas J. Skala RACINE – Thomas “Tom” J. Skala, 66, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on August 31, 1951, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (nee: Cetrano) Skala. Tom was a 1969 graduate of Wm.

Horlick High School. He was a member of Moose Lodge Racine. During his working career Tom was a Tool and Die maker and had been employed with A & E, Scan-o-matic and Walker Manufacturing companies.

Tom was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving is his loving son, Josh Skala of Racine; sisters, Barbara (Warner) Williams of Racine and Monica (Bill) Grise of Kansasville.

He is further survived by his former wife, Luci Skala, other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Chuck Skala, niece, Michelle Skala and nephew, John Skala. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor David Brown officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to his niece, Tracie Brisbon for her loving and compassionate care of Tommy during his last week of life. Gone Fishing!
