Obituary for Timothy Neal Travis CHATHAM, Timothy Neal Travis, age 50, of 107 Reid St. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on January 26, 2018 at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center in Richmond. He was born on September 4, 1967, in Danville, the son of Thornton Travis and the late Joanne Moore Travis. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Chande Hall Travis.

Tim was a loving husband and father. He served in the United States Marines and the Savannah, GA branch of Interagency Hotshot Firefighting Crew. He was also a member of the Scorpions M/C Smith Mountain Lake Chapter and was a great friend and brother to all.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Bryn Travis and Jolee Travis; two step-daughters, Katelyn Saunders and Madelyn Saunders; one sister, Terri Travis; and a foster brother, Timmy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Jones. Graveside services will be conducted at Hillcrest Burial Park on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev.

Curtis English officiating. There will be a celebration of Tim’s life at the Scorpions M/C Smith Mountain Lake Chapter Clubhouse, 4760 Grasslands Dr. Sandy Level, VA 24161 following the service. Scott Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Chatham is serving the Travis family.
