Surrounded by his family, Todd T. Staedt went to join his Dad on Feb. 2, 2019. He was born on March 8, 1971 to Thomas and Diana Staedt.

A life-long resident of Appleton, he was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, and graduated from Appleton East HS. Todd worked at Fox Valley Stone and Brick, Pavco and most recently, Kimberly Clark. With a great passion, he enjoyed all outdoor sports including Brewers, Packers, NASCAR, biking, golf, both water and snow skiing and fishing with his kids.

Great memories were made at Peabody Park, Riverside Cemetery, the Fox River, the Sheboygan Lake Shore and annual family vacations at Lincolnwood, Lake Moshawquit and Lake Sherwood. Todd enjoyed woodworking and could grill a great rack of ribs but hated goulash. He was a man of many talents and skills and had a true love of family and friends.

Todd was the proud and caring father of Josi (special friend, Terrill) and Thomas Staedt. He is also survived by his mother Diana Staedt and devoted sisters: Jodi (Bob) Rickert and Tricia Kasten; cherished nieces: Cassi Miramontes, Evie, Celia and Leslie Kasten; Aunts and uncles: Gary ’Godfather’ and Wendy Teigen, Kim Teigen, Sherry and Jerry Storzer, Patty ‘Godmother’ and Steve Dryeson, Paula Staedt and Terry and Janice Staedt; many loving cousins and Karen (always a member of our family and mother of his children) and all of Karen’s family. It breaks our heart to let him go but brings us peace to know he is welcomed by family members.

Greeting Todd are his Dad, Tom Staedt, Grandparents: John and Betty Teigen, Henry, Irma and Caroline Staedt, Aunts and uncles: Ed and Barb Champeau, Dick Teigen and Terry Teigen and cousins: Lesli and Lucia Staedt. A Celebration of Todd’s life will take place at 3 PM, Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev.

Steve Dietzler officiating. Friends may visit directly at church from 1 – 3 PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

No matter what your current relationship was with Todd, we hope you know he never wanted to disappoint, he loved deep and strong. Battling addiction is painful for the person going through it and for the people who love them. Todd’s family is grateful for the support received from friends and staff at Jackie Nitschke Center and Pathways for a Better Life.
