Obituary for Tony Zamora Memorial services for Tony Zamora, age 66, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Stephen Bills officiating. Tony died Saturday, November 24, 2018 in a Tyler hospice center. He was born in Wharton, Texas on June 26, 1952 to Hipolito, Sr. and Maria Olga (Castillo) Zamora and was a longtime resident of Lindale.

Tony worked in the gas compression business for over 45 years and was currently employed by CSI Compressco LP in Longview, Texas. He served on the Lindale Rural Water Supply Board for several years and very much enjoyed raising cattle and tending his farm. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Janet E. Zamora on November 26, 2016.

Tony is survived by his son, Travis Zamora of Lindale, Texas; daughters & sons-in-law, Toni Maria & Preston Amend of Spring, Texas and Ashley Jan & Matthew Seiber of Clarksville, Tennessee; mother, Maria Olga Castillo of El Campo, Texas; sister & brother-in-law, Mary & Mike Riha of Weimar, Texas; grandchildren, Kate Amend, Carter Amend, Sophia Seiber and Harrison Seiber; nieces and nephews, Kayla Riha, Kassie Riha, Zachary Zamora and wife, Natalie, and Lee Ann O’Neil and husband, Brian. Donations may be made to one of the charities Tony supported: St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, Shriner Hospitals for Children or the Red Cross.
