OBITUARY Treva G. Taylor June 24, 1932 – January 29, 2019 Treva G. Taylor, 86, of Chuckey, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, after a short illness at her home. She was a housewife and worked for many years at Roses Store. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Mt.

Gilead Baptist Church in Mills River, North Carolina. Survivors include her husband of 67 years: Uyless Gary Taylor; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Sheila and Bascombe Ray of Fairview, North Carolina, Debbie and Bobby Rickman of Chuckey, Tennessee, and Darlene Ayers of Fletcher, North Carolina; three grandsons; two granddaughters; five great grandchildren; one brother: Joe Green of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one sister: Burdette Holbert of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Freddie Taylor; parents: Ireland and Sue Green; a brother: Dan Green; and a sister: Edna Lyda.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Mt Gilead Baptist Church in Mills River, North Carolina with Dr. Bobby Taylor, Rev. Robert Ponder, and Rev. Roy Perry officiating.

Interment will be at Shepherd Memorial Park, Henderson County, North Carolina, at a later date.
