Tyler S. Klass, 28, of York, formerly of Walnutport, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018. Born on March 23, 1990, he was the son of Melissa Knopf of Walnutport and Scott A. Klass of Lehighton. Tyler was a 2008 graduate of Northern Lehigh HS.

He was most recently employed with Xfinity/Comcast, working as a service tech. Tyler loved Penn State, all Philadelphia teams and Nascar. Tyler is loved and will be missed by all that know him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by companion of 6 years: Fanniris Reynoso, with whom he resided; brothers: Jared and Ryan Klass; maternal grandfather: Robert Knopf, Sr.; Paternal grandparents: Phyllis Klass, Eugene and Lois Mayers; Uncles: Robert Knopf, Jr. and wife Jan, Greg Knopf, Terry Knopf and wife Linsay, Christopher Knopf, Jeff Knopf; Aunt: Kristen Graham; many cousins. He was pre-deceased by a grandmother Betty J. Knopf and an uncle Kevin Knopf. A celebration of Tyler’s Life will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 from 1P.M. to dusk at Eagle’s Nest Community Park, Eagle Rd, Slatington.

Please wear Penn State, any Philadelphia sports team or Nascar shirt if able to support Tyler’s passion. Donations may be made either to the funeral home or to Eagle’s Youth Partnership, 1 Novacare Way, Philadelphia PA 19145 Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
